The BayCare Sound
Clearwater, Florida, get ready! Grammy Award winning country music icon and activist Willie Nelson & Family will bring their unique brand of live music performance to The BayCare Sound on Sunday, 17th May 2026. One of the true legends of American music, Willie has been inspiring and entertaining fans for over 50 years.
Country music legend Willie Nelson was nominated for a 2026 GRAMMY Award for Best Traditional Country Album and released his 2024 album "Last Leaf on the Tree". Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner Willie Nelson will perform "On The Road Again" and "Always on My Mind" and prove that age is only a number after releasing over 75 studio albums.
The tour will feature special guest Maui-born singer and songwriter Lily Meola. Using America’s Got Talent as her launchpad, her soulful take on emotional folk-pop gained her fans in 2022, notably earning her a coveted Golden Buzzer.

Renowned country music icon Willie Nelson & Family will be performing live at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida on Sunday, May 17th, 2026. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and the show will begin at 7:00 PM. Opening up the show will be special guest Lily Meola followed by Willie Nelson & Family.
Performing in New Braunfels, TX, Waco, TX, Orange Beach, AL and many more locations throughout the spring and summer of 2026, fans will get to experience Willie Nelson & Family live in front of hundreds of other country enthusiasts at The BayCare Sound.
Willie Nelson sings some of his best-loved country classics, including “On The Road Again”, the now classic duet “Pancho and Lefty”, with Julio Iglesias, his own version of “Crazy” (made famous by Patsy Cline), and “Always on My Mind” (originally recorded by Gwen Johnson in 1969, however made famous in the country genre by Wayne Kemp in 1972).
Willie Nelson is also one-third of the country supergroup The Highwaymen, joined by Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings (previously a bandmate of Nelson's) and Kris Kristofferson. The Highwaymen released three albums between 1985 and 1995.
Willie Nelson was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1993 and received a GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999. Nelson has released more than 75 studio albums, recorded 20 number-one country singles and a total of 114 chart singles, including his most recent album, I Feel Nothing, which earned him a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Country Album.
Maui’s own Lily Meola performes a set of folk-pop hits “Daydream”, “Sunshine”, “Butterfly” and “You and I”. Her EP, Daydream, has gotten international attention.
Lily began performing professionally at 10 years old and can be seen performing alongside Willie Nelson on his children's album, Tumbleweeds and Chewing Gum. She took home the coveted Golden Buzzer on America's Got Talent and was launched into fame with her mind-blowing performances that have since gone viral.
The BayCare Sound is located at 255 Drew Street, Clearwater, Florida 33755 in the heart of downtown Clearwater at the Coachman Park. This innovative, outdoor waterfront boutique venue offers patrons a unique entertainment experience. The Sound will seat 4,000 on cover and a general admission lawn of 5,000 for a total of 9,000!
