Co-Headlining Summer Tour 2026 with Spin Doctors

An epic night of Alternative Rock as Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms embark on a Co-Headlining Summer Tour 2016 with special guest Spin Doctors. The show will take place on Tuesday, September 1st, 2016 at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida (at the waterfront in downtown Clearwater’s Coachman Park, just minutes from America’s #1 Beach). The doors will open up for fans at 5:00pm and the show will kick off at 6:00pm.

Blues Traveler

This US trio, known around the world for their incredible live performances, are led by the charismatic front man, John Popper. Not only is he an incredibly talented singer but also an expert on the harp and together with the rest of the band, they deliver consummate performances, in front of thousands of fans as well as in intimate club shows all over the world. Classics like “Run-Around”, “Hook” and “But Anyway” always get a great reaction from the audience and the band have the ability to improvise between songs and create a soulful and celebratory feeling.

The Blues Traveler were awarded a Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for “Run-Around” and their album “Four” is multi-platinum. They were also a major part of the creation and continued success of the H.O.R.D.E. Festival. 

Gin Blossoms

The Tempe, Arizona native rockers formed in 1987 and quickly burst onto the music scene bringing with them their own brand of jangle pop/rock that also fell under the moniker of alternative rock. Three of the band's biggest hits include the songs “Hey Jealousy,” “Follow You Down,” and “Found Out About You.”

The album New Miserable Experience, which went multi-platinum and received two Grammy nominations in 1995 for Best Rock Album and Best New Artist. The band went on a temporary hiatus from 1997-2001.

Spin Doctors

As one of the seminal jam-bands to emerge from New York City in the late 1980’s, Spin Doctors, (singer and primary songwriter Chris Barron, guitarist Andy Bernstein, guitarist Anthony Arambola, bassist Danny Falsini and drummer Aaron Edwards) have been bringing their unique blend of alternative rock, blues and soul to fans for decades. Classics such as ‘Two Princes’ and ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’ continue to receive massive airplay on alternative rock stations.

The group’s critically acclaimed and multi-platinum debut album ‘Pocket Full of Kryptonite’ (1991) earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. Their highly anticipated new release ‘Face Full of Cake’ (2025), is the group’s first studio album in over a decade. 

The BayCare Sound Information

Clearwater’s downtown waterfront district right on the Bay in the beautiful Coachman Park, just steps from America’s #1 Beach! With Covered seating for approximately 4,000 patrons and an outdoor lawn that can hold roughly 5,000 additional lawn goers, the total expected attendance at The BayCare Sound is approximately 9,000 fans per night. The downtown area of Clearwater, where the concert will be held, is comprised of shops, restaurants and bars and therefore there are numerous public parking spots scattered throughout the area. Also, there are several large parking lots that are within walking distance to the waterfront and The BayCare Sound at Coachman Park.
